documentary filmmaker and former resident. She lived at 13 Garrett Street from 2022–2024 and has documented numerous events and activities since.

Kathleen brings extensive experience in interview-based documentary work and is weirdly into data management systems and story sovereignty. She will be driving the documentary film production.

Éimhín O’Shea / resident + book maker

is a resident of 13 Garrett Street who has conducted many interviews for the archive and will be leading the creation of the Garrett Street Book.

Their writing on art and politics has previously appeared in Rolling Stone Australia, The Spinoff, Soundcheck Magazine, and a bunch of student media. They were part of the team that produced the Renters United illustrated edition of Rat King Landlord by Murdoch Stephens and are a member of the Get Home Safe Productions zine-making collective as well as the Wellington Zinefest organising committee.

Emma Cullen / archivist + advisor

archivist and museum and heritage studies master, is guiding us with best practice.

Emma works as a Heritage and Archives Collections Adviser at Tapuaka, the Heritage & Archive Collections at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University Library and recently completed a Master of Museum & Heritage Practice with a final research project focusing specifically on community-led collecting and archiving.

Peregrin Hyde / musician and more

Musician, events organiser and former resident, will lead the creation of a compilation album.

He lived at Garrett street from 2022-2026 and during that time collected P.A recordings during gigs and events within Garrett Street. Peregrin has worked extensively in audio and music production for radio, video games, installations and original compositions.
